About Rooted

Rooted Garden Services prides itself in creating and maintaining beautiful gardens in the towns and villages of the Sussex Downlands.

Rooted was established in 2002 and is run by Rob Eager, an experienced RHS qualified gardener who has been awarded a distinction in garden design by City & Guilds.

Rob Eager trained at Brinsbury Horticultural College where he was awarded 8 distinctions in the City and Guilds Advanced National Certificate in Garden Design. As a farmers son, he has a life long fascination with the natural world and is always happiest outdoors. His work draws on a previous career running City Farms in East London, where he engaged young people from urban communities in the wonders of the natural world. Today he runs a reputable gardening business renowned for its professional delivery and attention to detail. Rob lives in Henfield, West Sussex with his wife Jo, a children’s book illustrator, and they have two sons, Ben and Louis.
